How to Measure Your Arch
Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes. It is suitable for confident beginners who are comfortable measuring, drilling, filling, sanding and painting.
How long does it take to install?
Installation time will vary depending on your doorway and skill level. Please allow extra time for filling, sanding, drying and painting.
What tools do I need?

Do I need to plaster or paint it?
Yes. The kit creates the arch shape, but it will need to be filled, sanded, plastered where required, and painted for a finished look.
Can I paint the arch?
Yes. Once installed and prepared, the arch can be painted to match your wall or doorway.
Is the timber perfectly smooth and even?
The timber may have a rustic appearance, with small natural variations of around 1 to 2 mm. These are usually covered during filling, plastering and painting.
Is this a structural product?
No. This kit is a decorative internal finish only. It is not designed to support weight or alter load-bearing walls.
Do I need council approval?
Council approval is generally not required for decorative, non-structural internal finishes. Please check your own property, strata or rental requirements before installing.
Can I remove it later?
The kit is intended as a fixed decorative finish. Removal may damage paint, plaster or the existing doorway.
